STEPHANIE Murray’s wildest dreams came true when she landed the job of make-up artist to the stars at the recent MOBO awards in Glasgow.
Kilmarnock girl Stephanie, 17, is a beauty student at Kilmarnock College and could hardly believe her luck when she was asked to help out at the glitzy music awards show.
She was whisked away to a secret location in Glasgow where she helped with hair and make-up for the MOBO stars including JLS, Lemar and the up-and-coming singer Effie.
Stephanie, who hopes to become a renowned make-up artist, described the night as “the most amazing experience of my life”.
Stephanie’s lecturer from Kilmarnock College, Jackie McDonagh, also joined her at the MOBOs. Jackie said: “When Stephanie first arrived at the college she had been through a lot of personal issues and was still very young.
“Since then she has really blossomed, she has worked hard, learning great make-up skills. This was a fantastic opportunity for her.”
Both Stephanie and Jackie had a great night, although Stephanie declined an invitation to the MOBO after party and said: “I can’t, I have college in the morning!”
