A PRESENTATION of certificates to Community Learning and Development learners was held at New Farm Loch Community Centre.
This year 525 people gained 682 certificates with 180 people attending on the night – some of whom are pictured above.
Young people also received Millennium Volunteer Awards, East Ayrshire Youth Awards and certificates for a variety of learning opportunities including Fire Reach and Peer Education.
Councillor Iain Linton said: “I was very pleased to attend the presentation and was proud to present so many people with certificates to mark their achievements.
“It wasn’t quite an A to Z but we did manage certificate presentations from Advanced Digital Photography to Youth Worker Training. Learning is for life. There are courses for age groups and all abilities and it only takes a small step to make a huge difference to your life.”
