Kilmarnock S1/2 dominated Cumbernauld to win 51-0 at a rain-soaked Bellsland on Sunday.
The ball was slippery causing Cumbernauld to knock-on during their first possession.
The Kilmarnock pack scooped up the ball and spun it wide for their first score.
A combination of Cumbernauld errors and aggressive Kilmarnock tackling put the home side 17-0 ahead at the first break and the coaches swapped some players about. Kilmarnock were strong in the tackle and ruck situations as Cumbernauld struggled to keep the ball.
After the second period, Kilmarnock had more than doubled their lead to 36-0.
With the ball resembling a bar of soap in the tricky wet conditions, Kilmarnock coaches were pleased to see their players skillfully get the ball to their wingers.
The final score was 51-0.
Any S1 or S2 boy interested in playing rugby should go along to training at Bellsland in Queens Drive on Wednesdays at 6.30pm.
