Hurlford United 5 Lesmahagow 2 Pre-season friendly
HURLFORD United’s new signings made a dream debut by getting their names on the scoresheet in their friendly against Lesmahagow on Monday night.
Johnny Sinclair, David Cunningham, Andy Stevenson, Martyn Brown and Gary Denim all hit the back of the net against the Central District Second Division side.
Goalkeeper Cammy Menzies gave away a penalty but then saved one during the game at Blair Park.
United will play in Lugar’s tournament featuring St Mirren Under-19s and Annbank this weekend.
THE club is looking for people interested in becoming committee members as the side make their assault on the Super First Division.
Hurlford are also seeking applicants for the position of commercial manager to promote and sell the club’s facilities and interests. The position may attract an honorarium payment, with commission on results.
To apply or to find out more, phone the club chairman, Lorrie Headley, on 01563 539694.
