STRUGGLING Hurlford United face an uncertain future unless a solution can be found for their worsening financial difficulties.
That is the stark warning being delivered this week by the Junior club’s chairman Lorrie Headley as he announced an emergency public meeting to discuss the club’s problems.
Lorrie said: “The current season has been a disaster both financially and result-wise.
“It cannot be emphasised enough that unless we can energise the club by the addition of people and resources, the club will not be able to continue in its current form.
“The committee of Hurlford United FC invite everyone who has a feeling for the club to attend an open meeting on Tuesday, May 5, at Blair Park from 7.30pm.”
Hurlford are rock bottom of the Stagecoach Superleague First Division having won just three league matches all season.
