Hurlford United ready for pre season

HURLFORD United faced their first pre-season opponents on Wednesday night.

The Blair Park gaffer John Crawford said on Tuesday he was looking forward to the game against Royal Albert and Saturday’s home tie against Larkhall.

The manager said: “The boys have been working really hard, and these games will be our first chance to see them in action.

“These pre-season friendlies will be really important for us this year as we have so many new players, so it will give us a chance to see how well they gel together.”

The management team at Blair Park are still working hard to secure the signature of one final player before the season starts.

Crawford revealed: “The player in question has basically agreed to come, but we now have to agree a fee.”
