Killie fans favourite Michael Nelson is on his way to Bradford City after a £50,000 bid was accepted by the club.
This comes on the back of Liam Kelly leaving for Bristol City last week and boss Kenny Shiels admits although he is very sad to see the centre back leave, the club can’t knock back serious offers.
He said: “Kilmarnock have accepted a bid from Bradford and I assume Michael will be a City player soon enough.
“Michael will be a massive loss for Kilmarnock but we can’t look a gift horse in the mouth and we have to look to the future.”
Nelson has been ever present for Kilmarnock this season and was also part of the League Cup winning side of last season.
