Killie FC's Willie Gibson signs for Dunfermline Athletic

KILLIE winger Willie Gibson has agreed a move to First Division Dunfermline Athletic, managed by former Rugby Park favourite Jim McIntyre.

The former Queen of the South player signed for Killie in 2005, but has failed to claim a regular place in the starting line-up since his move.

He made 24 starts and a further 31 appearances from the bench during his Rugby Park career, scoring five goals.

Noted for his fancy coloured footwear, the 23-year-old made the news last season for all the wrong reasons after ripping off his shirt when he was substituted, having come on a short time earlier as a substitute against Aberdeen.

The winger has signed for the Fife club on a two-year deal for a nominal fee.
