Hitman Kyle secures Killie's SPL status

On form Kevin Kyle made sure Kilmarnock will be playing top flight football next season after heading home a vital winner against a desperate Inverness side.

The big hitman pulled his side out of the relegation mire when he found the net with 12 minutes left on the clock.

Having been denied an opener in the first half Kyle made sure the three-points remained at Rugby Park when he nodded the ball home from close range after some great play from Garry Hay.

Killie were unlucky not to double their advantage in the final moments of the match when playmaker Taouil's effort hit the post.
