Killie crash to defeat against St Mirren

KILMARNOCK FC crashed to defeat against St Mirren at Rugby Park after a first half Andy Dorman strike.

The midfielder struck the ball past Alan Combe towards the end of the first half to seal the victory for the Buddies.

Killie's first real chance of the match came through Donovan Simmonds in 27 minutes when his volley flew just inches over the bar.

The home team responded to Andy Dorman's strike on 38 minutes with sub Craig Bryson, who had replaced the injured Frazer Wright, shooting straight at Franco Miranda.

Killie came out in the second half looking for an equaliser but failed to take a share of the spoils.

The Rugby Park side now face a tough away trip to Easter Road to face Hibs on Saturday, December 27.
