THIS top-of-the-table clash was a typical Galston v Tiber affair. Tiber started well and on five minutes they got a free kick 20 yards out and Gilgannon stepped up, but his shot was well saved by Moore.
Tiber kept pressing and on 10 minutes they got the breakthrough.
It was good work from Robertson, who whipped in a telling cross into the box and Galston could not clear their lines, and Quigley was first to react and with good composure finished it off well.
Galston had a couple of half chances, but the Tiber defence was rock solid.
On 17 minutes Tiber got their second, they got a corner and McVeigh put in a lovely cross into the box, Greig made no mistake.
At this point Tiber were dominating the middle of the park with Ottoway and Smith in control.
But on the half hour mark Galston though they had got a goal back, but some how Logan cleared the ball off the line just before half time Moore kept Galston in the game with a fine save from Gilgannon.
Into the second half and Tiber started well and on 50 minutes Tiber finished Galston’s league challenge off.
Good work again from Robertson on the right hand side who put in a beautiful cross into the Galston box.
The Galston defence could not cope with Tiber’s movement and that man Quigley finished it off in style.
With Galston not putting the Tiber defence in any danger Tiber looked the team to go on and score again and on 60 minutes hard-working Robertson made it four.
On Saturday Tiber played Glenburn in the league and won 6-1 with goals from Parker 2, McVeigh 2, Greig, and Gilgannon.
