DUNLOP visited Kilmarnock at Dean Park for their fourth game in eight days, looking for a result which would clinch the Divisional Championship, following a vital encounter against Dirrans the previous Saturday, which they won 3-0.
It was apparent from the start that the Dunlop players were feeling the pressure and that Kilmarnock were determined to get something out of the game, and a nervy first half ended goalless.
Kilmarnock started the second half well and deserved a goal, but it didn't happen. Instead, after 10 minutes, Dunlop managed to get a ball into the area ad Chris Conway poked the ball into the net.

While they have three games to go, Drongan (a); Ayr (h) and Muirkirk (a), with 44 points on the board, Dunlop are already this year's 3rd division champions.
