Kilmarnock's Powerleague to hold football festival

POWERLEAGUE in Kilmarnock is hosting two five-a-side football festivals for clubs across Ayrshire later this month.

The events take place on January 10 and 11 and January 17 and 18 for under 8s and under 11s, and already 50 teams have registered their interest.

All fixtures will be overseen by qualified coaches/referees provided by Powerleague. All teams will be guaranteed an hour of footballing action, with a minimum of four games, lasting approx 15 minutes each.

Under eights will play six-a-side games, while all other age groups will play five-a-side matches.

There will be prizes for all players and teams following their final game. All players will receive a medal and all entered teams will receive a free five-a-side pitch voucher (worth £26.95) that can be used at any time Saturday or Sunday.
