Dutch touch at Kilmarnock's Powerleague

A SECOND Dutch Touch course is to be held at Kilmarnock’s Powerleague following the success of last year’s event.

The organisers are flying over another coach from a top Dutch club to put the kids through their paces. Last year they had KNVB coach Patrick Polanen from Sparta Rotterdam. The course will focus on fast footwork, team play, individual skills and the 4 v 4 game with a daily tournament for all who attend.

Five to eight-year-olds will meet at 9am to 11.30am, nine to 11-year-olds from noon to 2.30pm and 12 to 14-year-olds from 3pm to 5.30pm.

Sessions limited to a maximum of 16 players. Goalkeepers also welcome.

Closing date for applications is Monday, July 21.
