Dean Thistle hold players presentation

DEAN Thistle AFC held their players presentation night in the Portman Hotel, Kilmarnock.

Dean Thistle’s first year in the Ayrshire Premier League was to prove successful, with the team finishing in third spot.

This was even more pleasing as the side didn’t get off to the best of starts. After the first four games they had only accumulated one point from a draw and three defeats.

However they went through the rest of the season losing only twice.

The third place spot was a piece of Ayrshire Premier League history as it was the highest place ever for a newly promoted side.

Now of course the challenge is on to repeat or better the feat next season!
