Ayrshire south bowl into Hamilton Trophy final

AYRSHIRE south are only one game from winning the Andrew Hamilton Trophy after surging into Sunday’s final.

They crushed Aberdeen and Kincardine 152-83 at Dalkeith after taking a 13-shot lead after the first ends. They kept up that style for a 69-shot victory.

Ayrshire now meet East Lothian who beat Lanarkshire South 124-109.
