Indoor bowling: Scottish Cup exit for Galleon bowlers

GALLEON gents bowlers crashed out of the Scottish Cup last Saturday after going down to Ardrossan.

In a 72-81 defeat this game was a close encounter throughout and Ardrossan edged into the next round, while the Galleon bowlers can now only look forward to the next season.

Result (Galleon skips first): D Crawford 16, J Carswell 20; G Semple 16, A McConnachie 18; J McCabe 22, A Rogerson 26; C Wilson 18, D O’Rourke 17.
