Indoor bowling: Galleon men sail onwards

IN the first round of the Gents Scottish Cup, Galleon had a comfortable 85-65 win over Clydebank.

Their match with the non-league Bankies was at Paisley Indoor Arena. They now play Ardrossan in the second round on Saturday, February 21, at a neutral venue still to be decided.

Results (Clydebank skips first): D Harton 14, D Crawford 22; D Millen 12, C Wilson 25; W Wylie 19, J McCabe jnr 21; P Mason 20, G Semple 17.

However, in the Seniors Scottish Cu, Galleon crashed 66-55 to East Kilbride
