Shot put starlet Evie Bartl trained with her sporting hero world record holder Natalya Lisovskaya on Sunday.
The 12-year-old was invited by Scottish Athletics to attend a top throwing workshop led by the Russian Olympic legend held at Grangemouth national indoor arena.
Evie, a member of Kilmarnock Harriers Athletics Club, is currently ranked number one in Scotland for her age group in the shot put with a throw of 9.33m.
Natalya, who holds the record throw of 22.63m and won gold in the 1988 Olympics, passed on valuable tips to a handful of athletes including Evie.
Hammer throwers also had the opportunity to learn from Natalya’s husband Youro Sedykh, a double Olympic champion and current world record holder.
Evie is also a leading javelin thrower in her age group (26.70m). She is trained by her dad Harald.
