ALICE McNulty won the female athlete of the year title at Ayrodynamic Triathlon Club’s end of year awards held at the Savoy Park Hotel in Ayr.
The Kilmarnock athlete picked up the shield for her fantastic Ironman debut and bronze medal in the Scottish Half Ironman Championships.
Youth Finlay Rae was named the club’s male triathlete of the year. In a great season, he has won the titles Scottish Youth Triathlon Champion, Scottish Aquathlon Champion and was silver medallist at the youth elite British Duathlon Championships.
Gregor Grant and Julie McTaggart won the club champion titles with Fiona Davidson and Craig McGibbon as points champions.
Junior first race awards were given to Andrew Black, Morgan Smith and Cameron Black.
Alastair Stewart and Alice McNulty were given first Ironman awards for their excellent debuts.
David Mitchell was the only Ayrodynamic triathlete in the Glentress Duathlon last weekend. David completed the 7.2k run and 12.2k off road bike in an excellent time of 1.41.32.
The club will hold their annual 10km Turkey Trot and 5km fun run on Boxing Day (December 26). The fun/family run sets off at 11.15am with the 10k starting at noon. Registration is open from 10am at the Citadel Leisure Centre, South Harbour Street, Ayr, KA7 1JB. Entries can be taken on the day however pre-entries are recommended via www.entrycentral.com
