Progressive rockers Amplifier are set to release a new album and will be playing a Glasgow gig to promote thelaunch. “Echo Street” is the fourth album release from the Manchester four-piece outfit and will be on the Kscope label.
The album looks set to build upon the success of The Octopus, the critically acclaimed double album that the band self-released in 2011.
Amplifier frontman Sel Balamir said: “A lot of labels have courted the release, but Kscope were the only serious label that seems not to be stuck in the 20th Century in terms of their artist relationship.”
“We’re looking forward to having a great team of like-minded people to work with.”
The band play King Tut's on Tuesday, March 19.
