Cinema: Catherine Zeta-Jones is on the Rebound

CATHERINE Zeta-Jones hooks up with a toy boy in the romantic comedy The Rebound (15).

When her hubby cheats on her, 40-year-old Sandy (Zeta-Jones) starts a new life in New York with her two young children.

Against all odds she starts a romance with 25-year-old Aram (Justin Bartha), who starts babysitting for her.

But a relationship on the rebound is never going to go according to plan.

The toys are out of the box as Woody, Buzz and the gang return to the big screen in the 3D adventure Toy Story 3 (U).

As Andy is about to leave for college, the toys find themselves in day care and at the mercy of untrained tots who like to play rough.

Now they need to plan their great escape, and joining them are a bunch of brand new characters including Barbie’s boyfriend Ken (Michael Keaton), thespian hedgehog Mr Pricklepants (Timothy Dalton) and a teddy bear called Lots o’ Huggin’ Bear (Ned Beatty).

Shrek Forever After 3D (U) is the fourth and final part of the Shrek saga.

For an ogre, Shrek’s life has been pretty eventful from challenging an evil dragon, rescuing a beautiful princess to saving his in-laws’ kingdom.

But now things are a little dull, and instead of scaring villagers he is reduced to autographing pitchforks.

So he jumps at the chance of seeing some action with Rumplestiltskin.

However, he soon finds himself in an alternate world where ogres are hunted, Rumplestiltskin is king and Fiona is nowhere to be found.

Now Shrek has to put things right, and get his old life and his true love back.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (12A) sees Seattle ravaged by a spate of mysterious killings.

Bella (Kristen Stewart) is forced to choose between her love for vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson) and her friendship with werewolf Jacob (Taylor Lautner).

A group of elite warriors are hunted by an alien race in the action film Predators (15).
