Strictly Come Dancing stars head for Kilmarnock

STRICTLY Come Dancing fans are in for a real treat.

Two of the popular BBC TV show’s stars are coming to Kilmarnock for a special one-off appearance.

Brian Fortuna and Kristina Rihanoff will be at Kilmarnock’s Grand Hall on Sunday, June 20, 2010.

That’s right, the show is still seven months away, but because of anticipated demand, tickets, priced £15 and £17.50, go on sale at the venue on Tuesday.

The show will feature dancing demonstrations, exhibitions, a question and answer session, workshops with audience participation, and much, much more.

So why not get out your sequins and dancing shoes and ‘quickstep’ along to this fantastic presentation.

In fact, why not treat someone in your life – tickets for this sparkling show would make an ideal Christmas gift.

Kristina appeared in this year’s BBC production with world champion boxer Joe Calzaghe and was voted out on week five.

Brian Fortuna is still in the show and with partner Ali Bastian is one of the favourites to win. Brian and celebrity partner Ali suffered a hiccup on week seven’s show, appearing in the dance-off against Zoe Lucker and her partner James Jordan but were saved by the judges votes.

Remember – tickets go on sale on Tuesday, November 17 at 10am. Contact the boxoffice on 01563 554900 to book.

Strictly Come Dancing is one of the most popular show on TV with viewing figures into the millions.

Demand for tickets for the Kilmarnock event will be massive, so don’t delay, turn up or ring in to book your briefs next week.

The Grand Hall holds around 800 people, and should be just perfect for the ‘Strictly’ pair.
