Summer showcase time at Kilmarnock's Centrestage Music Theatre

IT’S summer showcase time for Kilmarnock’s Centrestage Music Theatre.

There’s a new format for 2009 with new evening performances including shows by Here Come the Boys male vocal choir who will be onstage on Tuesday, June 16, at 7pm and Dance Madness, a contemporary dance evening of tap and street dance on Wednesday, June 17, also at 7pm.

Said director Fiona McKenzie: “We felt that these classes have now grown to such a great size and standard, that they now deserve their very own show like our music theatre classes”.

Although Centrestage is best known for its music theatre classes that run all year round, the Gospel and Soul Choir, now 80- strong, is still a highly popular showcase. The choir performs on Friday, June 19 at 7.30pm.

Centrestage would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone to come along to the showcase week running from Saturday, June 13 until Sunday, June 21.
