COMMUNITY radio station Bonnet FM will soon be back on the air.
Station boss David Murphy confirmed this week that for the first time in five years the Stewarton set-up would operate a summertime service.
Bonnet FM is more often associated with festive broadcasts.
But David said on Monday: “The station is 10 years old this year, so it’s quite a special time for us. We thought it would be great to be on the air during the Bonnet Guild festival, so that’s what we’ve organised.”
Bonnet FM – 105.7mhz on FM – will broadcast 24-hours-a-day from June 1 to June 28.
As usual the station is looking for helpers to lend a hand throughout what’s certain to be a hectic few weeks of activity.
