Jun 5 2009 Kilmarnock Standard
IN THE Kilmarnock Standard recently our MP Des Browne declared he had nothing to hide regarding expenses.
May I be impertinent and ask who paid for the team of lawyers acting on his behalf when they tried to silence the coroners from giving truthful information on the Iraq War fatalities?
Also at this time leading lawyers joined in the criticism of the MOD’s attempts to gag the coroners and a professor of law said these actions were preposterous, arrogant and an offence to the British public, and now because of your actions then sir, may I say that you were not exactly out there fighting for your constituents whilst many of your constituents were out there fighting for you and many still are, and are paying the ultimate price for doing so.
