Go wild for wildlife

ANYONE interested in the wildlife and landscape of Ayrshire is invited to events held by Scottish Natural Heritage in Irvine on Monday and Tuesday.

The informal open evening on Monday is about the wildlife and landscapes of Ayrshire and is at the Thistle Hotel. Isabel Glasgow, chairman of the SNH West Area Board, will host the presentation and discussion from 7.30pm.

The event is free and doors open at 7pm. Places are limited so please call Mary Wallace on 0141 951 4488 to book. On Tuesday an open meeting of the SNH West Areas Board will be held at the same venue, from 10am. The public can attend as observers. A copy of the agenda is available at www.snh.org.uk. Anyone can submit written representations up to 24 hours before the meeting.
