Street attack man dies in hospital

A young man who was found seriously injured in a street at the weekend has died in hospital.

The 25-year-old was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh after being discovered in the city's Magdalene Drive early on Sunday morning.

Lothian and Borders Police confirmed that he died in hospital on Tuesday night.

A 46-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.
