Man discovered dead behind flats

A man has been found dead behind a block of flats on the Isle of Lewis.

Northern Constabulary said the 54-year-old's body was discovered in the Bayhead area of Stornoway at about 2pm on Thursday.

His death is being treated as unexplained and a post-mortem examination will be carried out.

A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
