A man who died when his parachute apparently failed to open has been named.
David Ball, 56, was from the Barnton area of Edinburgh, Lothian and Borders Police said.
He was taking part in a jump at Strathallan Airfield near Auchterarder in Perthshire on Saturday.
A police spokesman said: "Inquiries are continuing today with the assistance from representatives of the British Parachute Association.
"As with all sudden deaths, a full report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
