Two pedestrians killed in crash

Two pedestrians have been knocked down and killed near a supermarket.

Emergency services were called to the B981, Dunniker Way, in Kirkcaldy at around 6.30pm on Tuesday.

The male driver of the Land Rover involved in the crash near an Asda store was not injured.

A Fife Constabulary spokesman said: "The road is currently closed to traffic while vehicle recovery and crash investigation is undertaken.

"Inquiries are continuing in the area and police would ask anyone with any information about this incident to call Fife Constabulary."
