Man dies after falling off cliff

A man has died after he fell around 20ft from a cliff on to rocks.

Emergency services were called to the scene at Tyninghame Links, near Dunbar in East Lothian, at around 8.10am on Thursday.

The 69-year-old man, from East Linton, was airlifted to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary where he died in the afternoon.

Lothian and Borders Police, the ambulance service, coastguard and the RAF were involved in the rescue.
