Man praised for house fire rescue

A man who risked his life to rescue a child from a house fire in Midlothian has been praised for his bravery.

Angus Blackburn, 46, was out walking in Penicuik when he heard a woman screaming for help and went to her aid.

He ran into the smoke-filled house and pulled the woman's six-year-old son to safety from an upstairs bedroom.
