A pilot scheme banning the sale of alcohol to under-21s has led to a drop in crime and anti-social behaviour, figures suggest.
Eighteen off-licences in Larbert and Stenhousemuir, in the Central Scotland Police area, have been restricting alcohol sales to people over the age of 21 at key times, such as on Friday and Saturday nights.
Figures released by the Scottish Government showed calls to police about anti-social behaviour have fallen by 40% since the voluntary Stop the Supply project began in April.
