IT was K’nex challenge time at Loudoun Castle theme park recently.
Primary school pupils from throughout Ayrshire battled it out to build models using the popular K’nex construction system.
Teams from Nether Robertland PS in Stewarton and Fenwick PS now go on to Dundee for the all-Scottish finals, with the Scottish champions heading to London later in the year for the UK final.
At Loudoun the youngsters had to construct a model of a cargo aeroplane.
“It was a very difficult challenge,” said one of the judges, “but all of the children did extremely well and they all had great fun too.”
