Urgent: Kilmarnock's Carron Avenue underpass to close

THE underpass at Carron Avenue will close between Monday, May 18 until Friday, May 22 at the latest.

The purpose of the closure is to allow pupils from Kirkstyle Primary School to install a mural.

The school has designed the piece to brighten up the Kilmarnock underpass as part of an environmental project and it is hoped the project will help the school win a John Muir Trust Award.

East Ayrshire Council apologises for any inconvenience caused to local residents and will endeavour to keep disruption to a minimum.
