THE number of pupils excluded from schools in East Ayrshire is falling at an even faster rate than the Scottish average.
A report this week revealed a significant decrease of 11 per cent in suspensions and expulsions across Scotland compared to 2006/2007.
The figure for East Ayrshire in 2007/2008 was 29 per cent lower than the previous session.
East Ayrshire schools excluded a total of 860 pupils in 2007/2008.
