A PUBLIC local inquiry on improvements to the A77 is likely to be held this year.
Consultation on Transport Scotland’s £11 million Symington to Bogend Toll project has attracted a number of objections, it was revealed this week.
The scheme is designed to improve safety on the A77 by providing grade separated junctions at Symington and Bogend Toll.
This will allow the existing gaps in the central reserve to be closed.
