Motorway mystery on M77

MYSTERY surrounds what’s believed to be a failed suicide attempt on the M77 at the weekend.

A woman caused chaos on the motorway when she ran out in front of passing traffic.

Two cars swerved to avoid her, but she was struck by a third car.

However she then got back to her feet and made off.

Despite a full police search of the area, near the Fenwick Hotel, the unidentified woman hasn’t been traced.

The incident happened at around 2.30pm on Saturday.
