A KILMARNOCK man last week denied assaulting his sister.

Christopher O’Pray, 29, of Fullarton Street, Kilmarnock, is accused of threatening the female with violence, seizing her by the hair, punching her on the head and pushing her to the ground.

The offence is alleged to have been committed at a house in Kilmaurs Road, Kilmarnock, in April.

The case was continued for trial at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on September 26.
