Kilmarnock man causes rammy after falling out with dad

A MAN shouted and swore at police after falling out with his father, Kilmarnock Sheriff Court heard last week.

Christopher O’Pray, 26, of Ardgour Road, Kilmarnock, admitted a breach of the peace at his home on May 6. Stewart McMillan, prosecuting, said police were called to the house following a drunken argument.

“The householder indicted that he wished the accused to leave and the police asked him to do so,” he said.

O’Pray then shouted: “I don’t believe this. I’m coming for you.”

David McSorley, defending, told the court: “The gentleman in question is his father. They have sorted out their differences which were entirely down to drink.”

Sheriff Robert Vaughan deferred sentence until October 5 for O’Pray to be of good behaviour and called for a probation progress report.
