TWO thugs who battered a teenager so badly that he bit off part of his tongue have been jailed.
Kenneth Johnston, 22, and Ross McFadzen, 21, hit Kevin Cameron’s head against a wall before seizing him by the throat and kicking him repeatedly on the head and body.
Their 18-year-old victim was left scarred for life and unable to speak properly, Kilmarnock Sheriff Court heard.
Both admitted assault to injury and serious injury, permanent disfigurement and permanent impairment outside Ice nightclub in Kilmarnock in December 2007.
McFadzen also admitted assaulting another man outside the nightclub.
Johnston, a landscape gardener of Turnberry Drive, and McFadzen, a labourer of Hurlford Road, both Kilmarnock, were respectively given eight months’ and 12 months’ detention.
