Man attacked in Kilmarnock street

POLICE are looking for witnesses after an alleged daylight attack on a man in Kilmarnock.
On Friday, May 2, at around 3.15pm to 3.30pm, a man in his 30s was walking in Sturrock Street near a bus stop near the Palace Theatre.
A man driving a van stopped, got out of his vehicle and attacked the victim, leaving him unconscious and with a broken jaw.
A passer-by stopped to assist the injured man. He, or any other witnesses, are asked to contact police with any information.
