A pub night in memory of murdered Kilmarnock barman Stuart Walker has raised £473.21 for the charity Cash For Kids.
Emma Murphy, Lauren Kennedy and Claire Crawley – all friends of Stuart – organised the special fundraiser.
The night including live music from Elaine Withers, raffle and buffet at one of Stuart’s favourite pubs, The Granary in Kilmarnock’s Fowlds Street.
Emma said: “The reason for the event was to keep Stuart’s memory alive.”
The event was held almost a year after Stuart was brutally killed in Cumnock.
Popular barman Stuart, 28, from Cumnock , had been working at The First Edition pub and restaurant in Bank Street, Kilmarnock, prior to his death.
Emma added: “I want to thank all Stuart’s friends and family, local businesses making the night such a huge success. Also thanks to The Granary for holding the event.”
